Regular Option

Applicants who apply under this option must have completed all IDP requirements prior to submitting an Application for Examination.

To apply, submit the Application for Examination, the $10 application fee (payable to the Alabama Board of Architects), and contact NCARB to have the completed IDP council record forwarded to the Alabama Board. Upon receipt of the application, fee, and IDP record, Board staff will determine if the applicant is eligible for the A.R.E.®
